P.O.P. Inc. exists to develop youth through athletics and leadership while fostering an appreciation for education. Ultimately, equipping all young people with the tools to become better scholars, athletes and leaders on and off the court.

ANNUAL
TOURNAMENT

Each year, the P.O.P. Tournament & Leadership Clinic is offered to student-athletes in grades 6-8 across Baltimore City and beyond. The tournament features 12 middle school boy’s and girl’s basketball teams/programs. While the immediate goal of this tournament is to provide young athletes with an outlet and opportunity to compete against other teams, the overall goal of the tournament is to allow teams to grow as leaders, athletes and scholars through competitive tournament play, teambuilding exercises and development workshops.

​Each team registered for the tournament has the opportunity to participate in exciting leadership and developmental workshops while off the court which will build the character of individual players and teams as a whole. With the help of a dedicated team of P.O.P. coaches and facilitators, your team is guaranteed to not only enjoy a day of basketball, but a day of learning and teambuilding as well!

The Spring P.O.P. Volleyball League offers an opportunity to expose students to competitive volleyball by providing a  high-quality opportunity to compete in a competetive environment which promotes leadership and good sportsmanship.
