P.O.P. CDF FREEDOM SCHOOLS PROGRAM

HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS:

  • Must have a Youth works Certificate 
  • Grades 11 and 12 OR Former 8th Grade Scholars
  • Must have an interest in sports 
  • ​Must be eligible for promotion (no summer school)

 The POP CDF Freedom Schools Program extends academic year after school programming and affords at-risk student-athletes the opportunity to grow academically, develop athletically and advance as community leaders over six weeks during the summer. The CDF Freedom Schools Program seeks to build strong, literate, and empowered children prepared to make a difference in themselves, their families, communities, nation and world today. 

  • Applications available April 1st (Returning Only by Email)
  • New Applications available April 5th (Online)
  • Applications Due May 3rd
  • 2019 Program Dates: July 1st - August 9th
